ABOUT YOUR ROLE WITH US

As an IT services Delivery Manager, you will primarily support our awesome customers in the ongoing scheduling and service level adherence commitment we deliver to them. You will also support our internal team with client-facing project management, sales opportunity assessments, new onboarding planning, service delivery performance, and client estimates. This position requires that you provide first-level support to clients in a professional, cheerful manner to ensure a clear understanding of our service commitment to them.

YOUR IMPORTANT ROLE

As an IT Services Delivery Manager, you will take part in several activities that promote the optimum operation of our IT Managed Services team in the US.

 This includes:

  • Plan, develop and implement project efforts that utilize information technology solutions.

  • Facilitate the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management, project sponsors, vendors, and our internal team.

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of IT managed services. Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.

  • Negotiate changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.

  • Support the development of client IT budgeting.

  • Identify and analyze the elements of risk in a project.

  • Provide advice, guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

  • Ensure work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely across teams.

  • Document and present performance assessments.

  • Discuss teamwork progress and obstacles.

  • Performs technical feasibility checks for new proposed solutions.

This may also include:

  • Install and configure wireless networking equipment

  • Provide remote support, software loading, and troubleshooting for handheld and tablets.

  • Assist and mentor new team members as needed.

  • Participating in video content for marketing purposes.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS NEEDED FOR THE ROLE

  • Technical awareness: the ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.

  • This position requires a high level of interaction that requires patient listening and effective communication.

  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate documentation of service delivery activities.

  • Familiarity with industrial environments.

  • Professional interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to manage internal and external IT projects from inception to successful implementation.

  • Ability to coordinate and execute cross-functionally with the technical team, sales, partners, customers, etc.

  • Ability to communicate needs and schedules, as well as ensure that plans are in place and standards are adhered to.

  • Solid problem solving, organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated, collaborative, and global team.

  • Capacity to train and guide junior team members.

  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency.


 

IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience.

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience working as an IT project management resource.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how they are used to provide IT services.

  • Experience in dealing with third-party-provided services.

  • Experience with IT Infrastructure, Solution Design, and Service Delivery.

  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles.

  • In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures and incident management.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent organization and documentation skills.

  • Must be comfortable with video conferences.

  • US Drivers License.

  • Ability to travel to customer locations as needed up to 10%-20% of the time.


 

CANDIDATE PRIORITY CRITERIA

  • Five (5) plus years of experience working as an IT project management resource.

  • A preference for individuals that have already worked in an IT Managed Service Provider environment.

  • Demonstrated commitment to personal growth in the information technology field. 

  • Fluency in other languages, such as Spanish, is a plus.


 

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

  • Your Reporting Location is Chesterfield, Michigan.

  • You will contribute during a 40 Hour Work Week.

  • A background and drug screening check will be conducted if an offer of employment is made.
