As an Inside Sales Associate, you will primarily support our sales organization's prospect identification goals. You will be speaking on the phone with several people each day to discuss their IT and Cybersecurity needs. This position is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-starter, competitive, and motivated individual to thrive in the information technology sector. With our experience-based coaching and support, you will be able to generate 2-3 leads daily, resulting in continued growth and opportunities for you.

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will take part in several activities that promote the growth and expansion of Systems X in the US.

This includes:

  • Placing a minimum of 40-50 outbound calls/activities per day.

  • Engage and maintain contact with qualified prospects through email, live chat, LinkedIn connections, and phone conversations.

  • Identifying decision makers and converting them into warm leads that result in a follow-up appointment.

  • Identify and document a prospect's needs, budget, priorities, and decision timing.

  • Systematically perform lead follow-up in order to generate new business.

  • Leverage Marketing-generated, inbound leads and targeted account lists, leads, and contacts to conduct high-volume outbound calls.

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly lead conversion, opportunities created, and appointments-set goals.

  • Acquiring a deep understanding of Systems X and being able to present our company and services to prospects.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team and leadership to develop and improve prospecting strategies.

  • Use CRM system to track opportunities, including logging calls and updating lead, contact, and account information.

  • Work with the delivery team to improve service sales opportunities.

  • Assist with sales collateral and other duties as necessary.

This may also include:

  • Conducting market, competitive, and industry research and analysis.

  • Support on the road conference participation & industry exhibits.

  • Support webinars and web presentations.

  • Assist and mentor new team members as needed.

  • Comfortable with participating in video content for marketing purposes.



  • Call Center PBX.

  • Cloud-based Project Management and Collaboration tools.

  • Cloud-based CRM.



  • Communicate respectfully and politely with prospects at all times.

  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.

  • Proactive in taking ownership of tasks through completion with or without direction.

  • Knowing when to ask for help and escalating issues when necessary.

  • Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales experience.

  • One (1) of telemarketing or inside sales experience, ideally selling or setting appointments for an IT product or service.

  • Ability to speak well on the phone and display good communication skills.

  • Willingness to gain experience in selling business-to-business services.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Possess high energy and drive.

  • US Drivers License.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.



  • Two (2) or more years of telemarketing or inside sales experience, ideally selling or setting appointments for an IT product or service.

  • A preference for individuals that have already worked in an IT Managed Service Provider environment.

  • Fluency in other languages, such as Spanish, is a plus.



  • Your Reporting Location is Chesterfield, Michigan.

  • You will contribute during a 40 Hour Work Week.

  • A background and drug screening check will be conducted if an offer of employment is made.
